Purpose Statement
Everyone deserves a quality life.
Unfortunately, due to inflation and other financial factors quality lives have become commodities. One factor in many unviable circumstances is the lack of access to vital pharmaceutical care. While many struggle to at least find a doctor, those who manage a diagnosis often don’t have the means to fix the root issue. Most of the time, these issues can be solved by prescription pharmaceuticals.
I was diagnosed with a variety of medical issues, such as hypothyroidism and mental health issues that require costly medicines. While I am lucky to have access to this sometimes life-saving care, I am also not naive in the fact that many do not.
I have seen family members affected by the need for medications too costly to be sensible or affordable, and I find that this too typically affects lower-middle class and poorer families who need it. Through this blog, I aim to find pathways for families and people in need of pharmaceuticals. To find them a way to get the care they deserve and need. This blog will be updated twice a month, on the 7th and 14th.
